Farmers retain all ownership of farm data. Certification is valid for 12 months from issue date. Renewal requires annual compliance audit. If non-compliance detected, certification revoked and party notified within 5 days of discovery with appeal rights.
Certifiers must conduct physical inspections (not remote). Conflict of interest: certifier cannot own or buy from farms they certify. Annual insurance bond minimum ₹5 lakh. Any false certification results in bond claim and referral to NRDC for decertification.
QR code verification is binding evidence of origin and certification. If a batch proves counterfeit or adulterated, buyer has right to refund and QAgroTrust will indemnify seller for damages (covered by certifier bond).
Farm and farmer data is encrypted. No third-party sharing without consent. Farmers can request data deletion (except legal audit trail). Personal data complies with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act (DPDP), 2023.
All certification and batch records are immutable on blockchain. No retroactive deletion. Users can export their full audit trail. NRDC has read-only access for oversight audits.
